The SwimTeam project is an artist collective, creating individual bespoke gigs and telling stories through music and movement. Originally founded by Matt Regan and Claire Willoughby, and now working with a wide circle of different artists, we enjoy using our collective skills as musicians and theatre makers to devise fun interactive performance. We are particularly inspired by cabaret and club culture as well as concept musicals and live art. Using costume and makeup as key aspects in our gigs, we like to play with our audiences, using parlour games, dance routines and lip synching competitions to get everyone involved.

SwimTeam members have included Matt Regan, Harry Wilson, Clare Marcie, Alice Mary Cooper, Amy Conway, Rob Jones, Isabel Sharman and Hannah Jarrett Scott.

Commissions include Outskirts Festival, Chemikal Underground, The Commonwealth Games Cultural Programme, TYCI and EastEnd Social. We were awarded the IdeasTap Ideas Innovators Fund in 2014 to go towards a series of site specific gigs for all ages.
